The Grand Scheme of Things

As we roll into our third anniversary 😍 of loving one another, it's hard to believe how far we've come in love ❤️ and life together.

Quite frankly, this past weekend was tough. It was one of those weekends were we hoped for making incremental progress on our bath house project that once started as something we were convinced we could knock out in a few months... at worst, but as with any good thing, had taken far longer than anticipated. It was also an incredibly trying weekend personally. The perfect storm ⛈️ of emotionally and physically drained ensued, and we didn't even make it to the felt paper part of our project 😔🙄🥺😢

Throughout this process, which is now coming up on nearly a year, we have not only learned A LOT about time, but we have discovered A LOT about ourselves...What we truly desire in the "grand scheme of things," what our dreams really look and feel like and what quality of life genuinely means to us. As such it seems that not only our leetle bath house project has evolved into something much bigger, but our lives too have evolved.

It can be incredibly tiring and gut wrenching to realize that the progress your making isn't moving as quickly as you would like. It can create a real strain in all aspects of your life, but if this process and the last three years of love 💗 have taught us anything...

The formula of a solid foundation plus continuously adapting to ever-changing circumstances all over enjoying the journey, process and maintaining respect for each other yields pretty epic results that exponentially move us in the direction of dreams 🌎
